Mineral Wells, TX, National Vietnam War Museum, and Fort Wolters

The trip to Mineral Wells was on Halloween to visit the Haunted Hill House and the haunted Baker Hotel. On the way we found Fort Wolton and stopped by to explore what there was to explore. Enjoy the photos. We found a small town filled with colorful murals and character in an old style downtown shopping and business area. After driving around town and visiting the Crazy mineral water and tourist information center we headed back to Midlothian looking for the burger joint we had seen when we drove in. We found Woody’s and enjoyed a burger and beer. The On the way out of town we stopped by the National Vietnam War Museum. What a nice surprise to find this museum in such a small town.

The museum is in the process of expanding into the large barn area. It is a great collection of memorabilia from Vietnam.
